Portsmouth Mediation Service is collaborating with Portsmouth City Council and The Portsmouth & District Property Landlords Association (PDPLA), both key stakeholders in a plan to pioneer a new Restorative Service for Landlords and Tenants that get caught up with disputes and disagreements.
This independent and impartial service will be delivered by PMS, it is envisaged that it will become the future gateway for any Landlord/Tenant problems in the city and as the scheme develops it will reduce the need for costly and stressful legal action and help to reduce the number of people who end up becoming homeless. This independent and impartial service will help facilitate communication and defuse escalating problems, enabling compromise and agreement instead of entrenchment and anxiety. More information here
