By submitting a story, image, logo, or any other material (“Content”) to the 100 Relational & Restorative Practice Stories from Across Portsmouth project, you agree to the following terms:
1. Ownership and Permission
You confirm that you are the creator of the Content or have obtained all necessary permissions from the rightful owner(s) to submit it. Where the Content includes identifiable individuals, you confirm that you have obtained their informed consent (or, in the case of children or vulnerable individuals, consent from a parent, guardian, or appropriate authority).
2. Licence to Use Content
You grant Portsmouth Mediation Service and its partners a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, edit, publish, display, and share your Content in connection with this project. This includes (but is not limited to) use on websites, social media, printed materials, exhibitions, public displays (including buildings and walls), and future creative formats.
3. Editing and Adaptation
You acknowledge that your Content may be edited for clarity, length, accessibility, or presentation purposes. Any substantial changes will, where reasonably possible, be discussed with you in advance.
4. Public Display and Longevity
You understand that once published, your Content may be publicly accessible and could be used in both current and future project outputs. While reasonable efforts will be made to honour requests for removal, complete withdrawal from all formats (particularly physical or previously distributed materials) cannot be guaranteed.
5. Safeguarding and Confidentiality
You agree not to include sensitive, confidential, or identifying information about others without appropriate consent. Portsmouth Mediation Service reserves the right to refuse or remove Content that may pose safeguarding, privacy, or legal concerns.
6. No Payment
You understand that submissions are voluntary and no payment or financial compensation will be provided for the use of your Content.
7. Accuracy and Responsibility
You confirm that, to the best of your knowledge, the information you provide is accurate and does not infringe any third-party rights, including copyright, privacy, or defamation laws.
8. Data Protection
Any personal data submitted will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). Your contact details will be used for administration of this project and will not be shared beyond project partners without your consent.
9. Right to Refuse or Remove Content
Portsmouth Mediation Service reserves the right to decline, edit, or remove any submission at its discretion.
You must accept the terms and conditions to continue.
