PMS is helping to equip Portsmouth University and Highbury College with the restorative vision and tool kit to create a positive restorative culture
Generation 4 – 2019 / 2020
Everyone within PMS believes in the young people of our city who are investing in further education. We want to serve this generation of future movers and shakers and help them to succeed in leadership and enterprise. We have for example collaborated with the Student Union and Portsmouth Law School to facilitate a Peer Mediation Service run and delivered by students for students. Each year, 3rd year law students are selected as Directors of this resolution service. Here they gain first hand great transferable life skills, such as team work & communication, management & leadership, and sales & marketing. Every year we are thrilled to see these young people grow in confidence and stature as they develop their gifts and talent in a real-life business setting.

Our Partnership with Highbury College has resulted in its staff being equipped with the restorative skills that help to repair harm and find a way forward in difficult situations. We are extremely grateful to the college for providing the training rooms and resources for our city-wide Restorative training programmes.
