Alpha Solutions First for Restorative Front Page

Portsmouth Mediation Service (PMS) has again teamed up with The University of Portsmouth Business School and their Business Consultancy Project. Our consultancy team, Alpha Solutions, was asked to research and make recommendations on how we could further develop and implement a Restorative Culture across The University of Portsmouth.

After several weeks of consultation and research the directors of Alpha Solutions made a presentation of their recommendations to John (far left) and Sue (far right) of PMS. Pictured here between John and Sue are directors Simran & Michael (left) and Gabrijela & Matthew (right) The presentation focused around the great idea of a landing page on the UOP web site that would be a portal into the restorative options, tools and solutions currently available for those students and staff who want to reduce conflict and division and promote positive relationships and a more cohesive community.

The presentation was warmly received by the representatives of PMS and afterwards Simran said “I think it went really well everyone was engaged. We enjoyed doing the presentation and got some good feedback. Although we realised there’s a lot more to it than we first thought”
