Ground Breaking Restorative Conference

Alongside Portsmouth City Council, PMS were privileged to host a ground breaking city wide Restorative conference at Fratton Park. The inspirational event was attended by more than 200 people. The key note speakers were Ray & Vi Donovan, their very emotional and powerful story about the murder of their son helped delegates to see the potential for restorative practice in everyday life. The Conference was a great success, the PCC Director of Children, Families and Education said afterwards; “ It was clear to me that people were blown away not just by the stories, workshops  and keynote speakers but also by feeling part of something bigger and incredibly important, with the potential to transform lives across the city. I was so pleased to be there for the morning at least and very keen to support the movement – as it seems to be! – in any way I can.”
