All Together Now

Working alongside Portsmouth City Council, The Portsmouth Mediation Service has been helping to spearhead a new Restorative plan and approach to the annual challenges that residents and business owners of Old Portsmouth face during the hot summer months, when large groups of young people visit the Hotwalls & Camber Dock to hang out and jump into the sea. Part of the new restorative initiative will see some of the city’s key youth organisations and charities come together to present a more united and consistent message in their Old Portsmouth Youth Outreach. This new joined up multi-agency approach will also engage with local residents and stakeholders who will be able to join the outreach teams and begin to forge positive relationships with some of the young people who visit their neighbourhood. Look out for the new multi-logo Tee Shirts that will carry the badges of groups like Motiv8, Pompey in the Community & The Portsmouth Play & Youth Service.
