Hotwalls & Camber Dock Restorative Support Group

A new and exciting restorative story has been unfolding over recent months in the Old Portsmouth Neighbourhood. Portsmouth City Council has commissioned PMS to help develop a restorative plan and strategy to create a more cohesive and resilient community and to help open up new relationships with some of the young people who visit the area on hot summer days. A significant development in this plan has been the formation of the Hotwalls & Camber Dock Restorative Support Group. Pictured here this coalition of key local movers and shakers has been meeting regularly to collaborate on innovative ideas that will enhance the cohesion between the community and the young summer visitors. The group has representatives from The Friends of Old Portsmouth (FOOPA) Spice Island Residents Association, St James Quay residents, Portsmouth Sailing Club, The BAR Building, The new Fish Market, The International Port and is supported by local youth organisations, Motiv8 and Pompey in The Community, Street Pastors, Portsmouth City Council Seafront and Hotwalls Trader teams, Wardens and the Mediation Service.
