New Ideas for ADR Students

We are grateful to Dr Andrii Zharikov a Senior Lecturer at the University of Portsmouth (Faculty of Business and Law) for inviting our service manager Steve to deliver a guest lecture to his class of LLM postgraduate students studying Alternative Dispute Resolution. Steve presented the Restorative vision for Portsmouth and the principles that underpin it. Restorative Justice & Practice are not included in the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) module and the topic generated some fresh thinking among the students. Steve also offered to provide training for those students who wanted a greater understanding of Restorative Practice. Dr Zharikov said afterwards “we are grateful to Portsmouth Mediation Service, the students were clearly inspired by the talk and ideas and have started a register for those who are interested in the restorative training”
